A message from the Assistant Treasurer
of First Church Unitarian, Littleton
There are so many ways you contribute to FCU: your time, your talent, your treasure. Thank you for all you give to our Beloved Community.
I’d like to talk about your treasure. There are many ways you can send in your pledges/contributions/loose offerings. Here they are in order of my preference.
1. You can send a check to FCU. Our mailing address is 19 Foster Street, Littleton, MA 01460. During this time, I’m stopping by at the church each Saturday to pick up any checks from the mail and make a deposit at the bank. Before depositing the checks, I make a copy of it, to me this is the easiest process to make sure I keep track of your pledge payments and to produce the correct “tax letters” at the end of each year.
2. You can use your bank’s bill-pay service. Most banks let you set up a new vendor when you wish. Payments can be made automatically or just when you want to make them. The bank then sends a check to the organization, in this case FCU. I would pick up the checks at the same time as the ones in step #1. I don’t think you incur a fee for this but please check with your individual bank.
3. The donate button below will make it easier for you to contribute during this time of COVID-19. Contributing with our donate button thru PayPal does incur a credit card fee to FCU of approximately 3%. You can still contribute with this donate button if you wish, however, we ask you to consider increasing that donation by 3% to cover the credit card charges.
For all methods of payment, please identify in the memo line or in the PayPal form if your donation is a current year pledge, next year pledge, contribution or loose offering.
Again, thank you for your generosity to FCU.
