Molly Lozeau
Molly became the Music Director of FCU in December of 2013. She provides solo piano and organ music as well as directing the mixed choir in weekly rehearsals and services. For nearly six years before she came to us, Molly played piano and organ at Arlington Street Church in Boston for the chorus and weekly services. Currently a resident of Milford NH, she frequently performs and teaches all over New Hampshire and the greater Boston area. Molly serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching piano at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester and Saint Anselm College in Bedford. Molly accompanies the Concord Chorale and Merrimack Concert Association Chorus. She occasionally plays classes at the New England School of Dance for all ages and levels, having trained at the Boston Ballet School for three years. For the past several years Molly has played several school outreach tours and performances with Opera North in Lebanon and Boston-based Opera To Go. She is also an active recitalist, co-founding “The Open Aire Ensemble” with flutists Rebecca Jeffreys and Marjorie Bollinger-Hogan, touring southern New Hampshire with “The Aliento Trio” (piano, clarinet, cello) and kicked off Southern New Hampshire University’s performance series for the second time in a faculty recital with soprano Lindsay Rinaldi. In the fall of 2009 she participated with soprano Rebekah Alexander in the Oxford Lieder Mastercourse in England. During the summers of 2007 and 2008 she served as a staff pianist and vocal coach at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Molly earned her Master of Music degree in collaborative piano from Boston University in 2008 and her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Butler University in 2006.
